VERSION: This applies to Exceed onDemand version 5.1 and 6.

PROBLEM:

When trying to start the Exceed onDemand server the user gets the following message:

"Failed to load ../bin/sys/libcrypto.so, dlerror: ld.so.1: eodpm: fatal error : ../bin/sys/libcrypto.so: ELF value incorrect: [ EF_SPARC_32PLUS ] Could not init Exceed onDemand Proxy Manager, exiting."

SOLUTION:

Although the user is running a supported version of Solaris, there are also minimum CPU requirements when using SSH/SSL.

When running Exceed onDemand on a Solaris Sparc platform the CPU must be a v8+ or higher.
