VERSION: This applies to Connectivity Secure Shell version 9.0
PROBLEM:
Will Connectivity Secure Shell work with XDMCP Connections?
SOLUTION:
No, Connectivity Secure Shell will not work with XDMCP connection.
Connectivity Secure Shell tunnels tcp connections. Since XDMCP, uses UDP this is not possible.
A workaround is to initiate a secure connection such as xterm and then run the underlying script. i.e. On a CDE system your may try running Xsession. If running GNOME, you may try running gnome-session.
Since this is not the normal way that these scripts should be run, you may experience errors either when running them or trying to exit the session.
