VERSION: This applies to Exceed version 9.0
PROBLEM:
Kterm does not come to the foreground in KDE on RedHat 9 host if a Windows application (for example Windows Explorer) is already on top of it.
SOLUTION:
Apply Exceed.exe patch 9.0.0.14 and edit registry.
Open regedit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Hummingbird\Connecitivty\9.00\Exceed while the Exceed key is highlighted, click on edit, select new, then key, name the new key Xserver. While the Xserver is highlighted, click on edit, new then DWORD Value. The new value name would be xRaiseOnClick, and the value should be set to 1.
Close Exceed Xserver and restart Exceed Xserver to make effect.
If the flag is added properly, you should find it in exceed.log file.
