PROBLEM:

Customer has used Usrmanager to setup a silent installation for the users on Terminal Server. An Xstart file is created as a Citrix published application, the progress bar is shown during installation when the user runs the published application the very first time.

SOLUTION:

Here are the steps required to make the published application install silently.

1. Login as administrator on the Terminal Server.
2. Launch the registry editor from the Run button; "regedit"
3. Edit the registry as follows:
4. In the following hive:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Hummingbird\Connectivity\9.00\Default User\
5. Add String Value and Data Value as follows:
   REG_SZ "Default Install Parameters" = "UILEVEL=NONE"
