What does HumDisplayServer.exe background process do?

LAST MODIFIED DATE: December 03, 2003

VERSION: This applies to Exceed version 9.0

PROBLEM:

The process "HumDisplayServer.exe" always gets started up and remains running in the background, even when Exceed is not in use. Is there anyway to prevent it from running upon PC startup?

SOLUTION:

HumDisplayServer.exe is a service that is started by default that provides Exceed Display Management. Because of the increased Microsoft security enhancements provided in recent service packs, this service was introduced to allow non-administrative users to have the ability to run the Exceed X server in a multiple display environment.

If you wish to disable this service, you can do so by going to Computer Management > Services.
