When performing the personal install you receive the following error: This installation cannot continue because a Terminal Server specific transform has been applied to Hummingbird Exceed 7.X.X and this machine is not Windows NT 4 (TSE) or Windows 2000 with Terminal Services.

The Terminal Services were installed as Remote Administration mode which will not allow the Terminal Server to serve applications. This can be confirmed by running the following command from a commad prompt:

change user /query

The output for a Remote Administration mode install is: Install mode does not apply to a Terminal server configured for remote administration.

RESOLUTION:

Un-Install Terminal Services re-boot then Re-Install the Terminal Services as Application Server Mode. Then install Exceed as per the guide following all steps.
