Getting "Failed to start session" error when using imported cfg files.

LAST MODIFIED DATE: May 28, 2008

VERSION: This applies to Exceed onDemand version 6.

PROBLEM:

When you import cfg files and use them, sometimes you get a "Failed to start session" error.

This may happen because the imported file may be using a customized keyboard file that was not imported with the cfg file.

SOLUTION:

To verify and fix this issue, edit the cfg file, and go to the Input tab. If there is no entry for the Keyboard Mapping File, choose the most appropriate one from the drop down list. For example, us.kbf.

Save the changes and you should then be able to connect without any errors.
