VERSION: This applies to Exceed onDemand version 6.
PROBLEM:
When a workstation has multimedia keyboard connected, and multimedia key is pressed, Exceed onDemand client translates the function to letters.
For instance, when stop button is pressed, it generates letter "j" in the xterm window. Play button generates letter "g", forward generates letter "p", rewind generates letter "q", volume up generates "b", volume down generates letter "c". Middle button (music note) that opens Windows Media Player application works.
SOLUTION:
This issue has been resolved in Exceed onDemand 6.0.10.0. When using the multimedia key, it does the function without translating it to a letter/character.

Exceed onDemand 6.0.10.0 patch or higher can be obtained by logging into WebSupport or when you contact Hummingbird Customer Support
