Exceed onDemand Linux Client returns error message "The proxy doesn't support depth-16"

VERSION: This applies to Exceed onDemand version 6.0

PROBLEM:

When running Exceed onDemand 6 Linux client, you get the following error message when trying to connect to a server:

"The proxy doesn't support depth-16"

SOLUTION:

You are getting this error message because the Exceed onDemand 6 Linux client does not support 16-bit color depths on the Linux desktop.

In order to resolve this issue you need to change the Linux workstation color depth to "Millions of Colors" instead of "Thousands of Colors".
