DISCUSSION:

A silent installation runs in the background.
You can perform silent installations for Exceed onDemand Server and Exceed onDemand Client.

Note: To install Exceed onDemand, you must log on to the computer as the (local) administrator. This is not necessary for Exceed onDemand Client.

To install Exceed onDemand Server on Windows use the following command:
E:\Exceed_onDemand\Server\Win32\Setup.exe /S /V"/qn EOD_SERIALNUM=activationkey"

To install Exceed onDemand Client on Windows use the following command:
E:\Exceed_onDemand\Client\Win32\EoD-6.0-Client.exe /S

where E:\ is the CD-ROM drive.
Option Description:
/S Specifies a silent installation.
/V passes parameters to Msiexec.exe.

Note: There are no spaces between the /V and /qn options and V is uppercase. If a character string contains a space, put quotes around it. For example: /V"parameter space"

EOD_SERIALNUM Specifies the activation key, located on the product CD package.
