LAST MODIFIED DATE: May 17, 2006
VERSION: This applies to Exceed onDemand versions 5.0, 5.1
DISCUSSION:
In order for the existing users to see the new .kbf file (for example: mykeyboardfile.kbf), the Administrator has to actually copy this file into the appropriate path for each user:
Example: conf/users/tech/Xconfig/Common
If the Administrator places the .kbf file in the following path, then any new user will get the file copied to their profile automatically:
/conf/admin/Xconfig/Common
Incidentally, if the Administrator creates a new Xconfig file and specifies the new .kbf file by going into Server Manager (Through the Windows Exeed onDemand Server Manager install) and copies the appropriate Xconfig profile to the Global Folder section, the new xconfig file setup with the new .kbf file will be available to all users but the xconfig file will not be editable.
