DISCUSSION:

In order to setup the Mouse Wheel to scroll in VAX decterm, you need to do the following:

Under Hummingbird Connectivity, Exceed Tools, Xconfig go to Mouse, Keyboard and Other Input Devices, click on the Mouse Input tab, and follow the steps below:

1. Select the "Wheel movement invokes macro" option.
2. Click on the "Macro Bindings" button. Under "Assigned Wheel Macros" click on the ellipsis beside the Control + Wheel Up:
3. Click on Add.
   Give the macro a name such as "up".
4. Click on "Start Record".
5. Press the Right Ctrl key. Keeping it depressed, press and release the Page Up key. Release the Ctrl key. Click on Stop Record.

   In the Event list you will:

6. Name Action.
7. Right Ctrl KeyPress.
8. Page Up Keypress + KeyRelease.
9. Right Ctrl KeyRelease.
   Click on OK.
10. Select "up" and click on OK.

Repeat the above procedure for mapping the Page Down key.

You can adjust for any of the other Assigned Wheel Macros.

The Mouse Wheel should now scroll in VAX decterm.
