PROBLEM:
When you first run Exceed desktop sharing, you are prompted to enter the "User Information", which consists of your first name, last name and email address. Where is this information stored?
SOLUTION:
The user information for desktop sharing is saved in the registry, in the following hive:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\User Location Service\Client
The user information is requested upon the first use of Exceed desktop sharing. If you delete the Client key as mentioned above, you will be prompted for the user information when you run Exceed desktop sharing.
Exceed desktop sharing is located on the Exceed tools menu. You must first launch Exceed, and then right click on Exceed in the task bar and select Tools and then select Desktop Sharing.
