Terminal Server - Checking Mode of Install
DISCUSSION

Once Exceed 6.2 has been installed on Terminal Server, is there any way to determine if it was installed in Execute or Install Mode?

RESOLUTION

In the registry check for [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Hummingbird]. If there is a key underneath this for Exceed, then it was installed in "install" mode and could present problems down the road.
