How to develop using Exceed/XDK 5.1.3 and run with Exceed 6.X.

RESOLUTION

1. develop using 5.1.3 XDK: libraries, include files, uil,....

2. install Exceed 6 XDK with "X11R5 Local X Clients Runtime" component.

3. install Exceed 6 Xserver only

4. copy the appropriate dlls files (xm.dll, xt.dll, xmu.dll, xaw.dll,....) from Exceed XDK to the Only Xserver directory

5. now your Exceed 6 Xserver will work properly with the executable that developed by 5.1.3 XDK

Please note that you may use 6.x xlib.dll instead of 5.1.3. make sure you follow the rules of the version of xlib.dll you are using.
